Moms: You are not alone in this journey!
Moms of myFace is a safe space. A lifeline. A sisterhood of moms who get it.
Moms of children with craniofacial differences and complex medical needs often find themselves feeling isolated — disconnected from other “typical” moms, overwhelmed by constant caregiving, and struggling to hold on to pieces of their individual identity.
They are navigating an intense, often unpredictable journey — one with limited support, scarce time, and few opportunities to connect with others who truly understand.

That’s where this cohort comes in.
Because no one should have to walk this path alone.
What are we aiming to do?
We’re here to connect you — to one another, to community, and to yourself. We’re filling a gap that’s too often left unspoken for. A space where moms can:
- Reclaim the joy and celebration of motherhood,
- Honor the strength and courage of a mom raising a child with craniofacial differences or complex medical needs
- And feel truly seen, heard, and supported by those who just get it.
- This is more than a network — it’s a movement.
- Join us, experience the perks of sisterhood.
- And be part of building something that grows with you — and because of you.

A medical mom is a parent who cares for a child with one or more complex medical conditions, effectively becoming a medically trained expert in their child’s specific needs. They deeply understand medical terminology, their child’s history, and navigate daily care, advocacy, and the healthcare system. While keeping meticulous record-keeping , and a profound commitment to their child’s well-being, a medical mom is a constant caregiver, all while making lunches, memorizing giggles, and maybe remembering to shower!
Approximately 1.5% of children in the U.S. are medically complex, which would translate to over 1.2 million medically complex families!
