We\u2019re spreading the word to remind both children and adults: as you suit up for outdoor and sports activities this spring, don\u2019t forget to protect your face and head. Despite her facial difference, Sara\u2019s love for life and the people around her continued to grow. Sara\u2019s self-worth remained through every hard day and doctor\u2019s visit, every unkind word and criticism.<\/p>\n<p>Secure in herself, Sara decided there was another goal to tackle\u2026 her dream of surfing. Sara\u2019s body wasn\u2019t built to surf. Her feet couldn\u2019t grip the board &#8211; her joints couldn\u2019t flex like they needed to; but Sara didn\u2019t care. It was her dream.
